Event Planning/Our Services
Queensbury Convention Centre is an 860,000 square foot trade show; convention and exposition complex featuring interconnected exhibition halls, pavilions, arenas, meeting and banquet salons.  Queensbury Convention Centre also has parking for 3500 vehicles.

The facility is fully operational all year round and hosts some of the key events and shows in Western Canada. Evraz Place yearly hosts, the Canadian Western Agribition, International Arabian Horse Association, Western Canada Farm Progress Show and Saskatchewan's Provincial Exhibition "Buffalo Days".  Queensbury Convention Centre has also hosted such conventions as Saskatchewan Safety Conference, Canadian Soil Conservation Association, Homebuilders Association and The National Managers’ Convention just to name a few.

Queensbury Convention Centre is conveniently located at Evraz Place in the heart of Regina and is 2 miles from the Regina Airport and only 5 minutes from downtown hotels and services.

Queensbury Convention Centre boasts a 40,000 square foot meeting and convention centre with Saskatchewan’s largest banquet room and a handsome exhibit area called Ag Ex Pavilion and Banner Hall with a combined exhibit area of 54,750 square feet. Our banquet Salons’ unique design allows it to seat 1380 comfortably for dinner, with large screens in each corner, or it can be transformed into three private Salons.

BANQUET / MEETING ROOMS
Please note that other groups may be utilizing the same room prior to or following your event. Therefore, please follow the agreed time schedule. Should you have any changes, please communicate them immediately to your Conference Services contact.

LINEN
Our selection of napkins (white & navy) and white tablecloths is included in your meal pricing. We are happy to accommodate other color requests for linens at an additional rental fee, and with at least two week's notice.

BANQUET MENUS
Providing you with the finest quality of banquet food and service is our goal. To facilitate this, we request that entrée selections on all served banquet meals be limited to one choice, with the exception of special dietary or religious restrictions. All catering menus (buffet, plated, snacks or beverages) should be selected and confirmed at least two weeks prior to the event.

CATERING MENUS
Catering guide pricing is based on regular service standards.  Changes in menu or service needs may require some adjustment in pricing. We would be happy to prepare a custom menu for your event.

DISPLAY MATERIAL/DECORATIONS
No decorations, signage or display materials are to be taped, tacked or attached  to walls, pillars and interior or exterior doors unless authorized by Evraz Place.

No portion of a display is to obstruct any exit aisles or doorways.  All materials  used for display or decorative purposes, are to be inherently flameproof or  properly treated with a chemical retardant.  The use of open flame candles or  straw and hay is prohibited

Decorations and equipment must be removed at the end of the event, unless prior arrangements have been made.

RENTAL
The Catering Department will be happy to arrange any rentals as needed through our rental company.  All costs will appear on your final bill.

SOCAN
The Government of Canada Copyright Act states that SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors & Music Publishers of Canada) has authority to collect license and royalty fees.  Evraz Place is required by law to obtain performing rights licenses and remit fees back to SOCAN.  This licensing fee will apply to receptions, conventions, fashion shows and dances.  Some bands may be already licensed, if so, please provide a copy, and the fee will be waived. 

Evraz Place reserves the right to inspect and control all events including conduct and performance of entertainers and audible level of music played.

SHIPPING & RECEIVING
Shipments of goods for events must be pre-arranged with Evraz Place.   No shipments will be accepted prior to the day of the event.  All boxes etc. must be clearly marked with the name, date and the building location of the event or they will not be accepted

CANCELLATION
Cancellation Policy: If written cancellation of the event is received more than 120 days prior to the event, 100% of the deposit received will be forfeited for damages for such cancellation.  If event is cancelled less than 90 days prior to the event, client will be charged 25% of estimated food & beverage costs.  If event is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the event, client will be charged 50% of estimated food & beverage cost.

DAMAGES
All function areas will be assessed after each event for damages and a damage charge may apply.

Evraz Place is not responsible for damages, or loss of any articles left on the premises, prior to, during or following any event.

Any damages or additional costs incurred as a result of failing to comply with any Evraz Place policy will be charged to the event/convener. 

ADVERTISING
All wording for advertising, tickets, posters and print must be approved in advance by Evraz Place management.

PERSONNEL
All personnel required for any event must be provided by Evraz Place.

Any additional staffing services including security, coat check attendees, janitorial, and electricians required will be charged on an hourly rate.

IATSE
The Licensee acknowledges that I.A.T.S.E. (International Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees) is a certified union with an exclusive contract at Evraz Place and agrees not to violate said contract in the operation of their event.

AUDIO VISUAL
Evraz Place has INLAND AV as our audio-visual supplier, if any other Supplier is used, you will be responsible to pay charges, in respect of use of the facility, electrical equipment, and electrical power. www.inlandav.ca 

GUARANTEES
Our culinary team takes great pride in using the freshest ingredients to prepare your menu, and must order them in advance. Therefore, it is essential that we know your guaranteed attendance no later than 11:00 a.m., three (3) business days prior to your event.
Should the number of guests attending the event differ from the original number quoted, Evraz Place reserves the right to provide an alternative room to suit the group size at our discretion.

Invoicing will be based on the guaranteed number or actual number of attendees, whichever is the greater.

Remaining food items left over from the buffet may not be taken out of the facility due to health regulations.

ELECTRICAL
110V power is included in the rental fee, any additional power requirements will be charge for.  All electrical cords, connections and appliances are to comply with the Electrical Code.

MOTORIZED EQUIPMENT
Motor vehicles or gasoline powered equipment on display are restricted to ¼ tank of fuel and are to be equipped with a locked tank cap.  Batteries are to be disconnected and a drop sheet to be placed fully underneath each vehicle or piece of equipment.

All prices regarding food and beverage, rentals, equipment charges are subject to change without notice.
